THE patented KAM OWD Oil Water Detector sets a new standard for water cut meters and oil-in-water detection. The 3-antenna design enables an unprecedented range of accuracy, making it the ideal on-line device for production management, crude unloading, automated well tests, automatic tank dewatering, custody transfer, and more.

Because of its unique design, the KAM OWD Oil Water Detector succeeds where other water cut meters cannot, in particular applications with low pipeline velocity, high water content, and heavy oil.

Key features include:

  • 1% of full scale accuracy
  • Automatic temperature correction
  • Automatically corrects for effects of density
  • Automatically detects transitions between oil continuous and water continuous modes and monitors both modes simultaneously
